Dr. Jack Byrd, Founder of Career Success Academy
Over his 40+ years of teaching at West Virginia University, Jack has taught, advised and mentored more than 5,000 students and continues to teach roughly 1,000 students per year.

The Career Success Academy courses evolved from the materials that Jack personally developed and has used for the past 15+ years to facilitate the placement of 90%+ of his industrial engineering students. His dedicated role in helping students identify and achieve their career goals has placed him in the center of an active network of alumni at companies including General Electric, IBM, Hershey Foods, Tropicana, and many more.

Matt West, Manager of Career Success Academy
Since joining Career Success Academy, Matt has coached more than 500 students in fields from Aerospace Engineering to Zoology. In addition to managing the business operations of Career Success Academy and teaching its courses, Matt also keeps busy as an entrepreneur and teaching at WVU's College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
